When Jennifer, Brent, and Laurie of Jamison Road take the stage, it’s apparent to everyone that these three were meant to make music together. Powerhouse vocals, mesmerizing harmonies, and high-octane guitar all fit together in a magical, can’t-get-enough-of-that sort of way. Each of these three uniquely talented musicians and songwriters complements the others when they join forces to create that unforgettable Jamison Road sound.

When Jennifer DePalma sings, people listen. She has one of those voices — powerful, soulful, and belonging only to someone who was born to sing. Hers is a voice that will make you remember the first time you heard it. With passion and an unparalleled love for music, Jennifer captivates a live audience from the get-go.

Brent Duersch plays guitar — any guitar — with the single pre-requisite that it rocks. Brent brings raw energy and high intensity to any instrument with strings. He is a talented composer and is responsible for the distinctive arrangements and foot-stompin’ riffs prominent in JR’s style.

Laurie Heltsley plays heart-pounding bass guitar and blends her voice effortlessly with Jennifer’s to create the signature harmonies that make Jamison Road a stand-out among a sea of modern country bands. Her energy and stage presence also help make JR as fun to watch as to hear.

Soon after founding the band in 2010, the three musicians combined their song-writing talents, leading to the release of their first 12-song album, self-titled Jamison Road, in 2012. Recorded in Nashville, their debut was met with great enthusiasm from fans as well as praise from country music industry insiders.

In 2013, the band sparked the interest of Sojourn Records, who believed that Jamison Road was ready to take the next big step musically. According to Mark Ambrosino, President and Co-Founder of the label, “Their music is well crafted, the recordings are first rate, and they have done all the things necessary to move their career to the point where we at Sojourn feel confident that everything is in place to take it to the next level.” The band signed with the label in 2014. Jamison Road’s highly anticipated second studio album, Let it Rain, is due to be released in August 2014 by Sojourn Records.

Performing throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and from Virginia to California, the trio, together with their full stage band, have been rockin’ audiences young and old with their cleverly crafted lyrics, can’t-forget guitar riffs, and lively connection with listeners. In 2013, the band put on higher energy shows at Taste of Cincinnati, Party in the Park, Fountain Square, Toby Keith’s, the Knob Creek Gun Range (home of the CMT reality show, Guntucky), Equus Run Vineyards (Lexington), as well as multiple fairs and festivals throughout the Ohio and Kentucky region. The trio also had the honor of singing both “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America” at the Kentucky Speedway before two separate NASCAR races, with a broadcast of one of the performances on ESPN.

In 2014, Jamison Road will perform at Buckle Up Music Festival, Taste of Cincinnati, Merchants and Music Festival, Blue Ash Friday Night Concert Series, and other marquis fairs and festivals from Lake Erie to Louisville.

When you see them live on stage, you will understand that these three are something special. They are not only band-mates and co-writers, but best friends, grateful every day to be on this journey together. Their passion for their music, their band, and their friendship is clear to fans. There’s no telling just how far this trio will go, but it’s sure to be together, with excitement and passion for every step down the road.
